VIDEO: Andrea Bocelli Singing ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’

Andrea Bocelli is often credited with being one of the artists that popularized pop-opera. He began his career in opera and still performs this genre of music. However, he also covers many pop songs and sings them in his own style. This makes his versions stand out amongst other covers of the same song. One song he has covered is ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’.

‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ is a pop song co-written by Hugo Peretti, Luigi Creatore, and George David Weiss. It was originally recorded in1962 by pop legend Elvis Presley. It reached number six in the British charts and peaked in the second spot on the US Billboard Hot 100. IN the United States, he sold over a million copies.

Andrea Bocelli is just one of the many artists who has covered this song, but he performed it in his own unique style. Others who covered the song included Al Martino, Ingrid Michaelson, Haley Reinhart, The Stylists, and Lick the Tins.
