You will need:

  • Fresh Parsley
  • Fresh Garlic
  • Lemon Juice
  • Honey
  • Dried Oregano & Basil
  • Onion Powder
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • White Wine Vinegar
  • Extra-Virgin Olive Oil

  1. Dear Ms. Fera, I’m not commenting on the recipe itself, but nobody in Italy would never ever toss a salad with this concoction. Oil, vinegar, and salt is the only accepted dressing there. If you want to push it, you could use balsamic vinegar instead of the regular red wine one. Also, Italians do not know, let alone use, any “powder”, that being onion, or garlic, or anything else. You want an ingredient, you use the fresh “format”.

    1. Hey Enrico, you’re absolutely right! In Italy we only use oil vinegar and salt. This dressing is suppose to be an alternative to the store bought “Italian” dressing.
