Italian Murderer Who Escaped Jail for Seventh Time Found Hiding in Sheep Pen

Italian murderer Giuseppe Mastini escaped jail for the 7th time and was found hiding in a sheep pen

Giuseppe Mastini, 60, nicknamed Johnny lo zingaro “Johnny the Gypsy” was missing for a week.

According to police, he was hiding in a sheep pen Tuesday making it his 7th escape from prison. The sheep pen was in farmhouse near Sassari, Italy.

BBC. news explains that “Johnny the Gypsy”, was on temporary release from a maximum security facility in Sardinia when he disappeared on 6 September.” He committed his first serious crime at 11 years old and first escaped from prison in 1987.

Mastini also decided to dye his hair blonde to conceal his identity.
