The song “Moonlight Serenade” by Frank Sinatra was originally composed by Glenn Miller in 1935. It was a very large part of the big band era which consisted of a music group of around 10 musicians playing instruments such as trumpets and saxophones. The song actually evolved from on of Miller’s previous songs titled, “Now I Lay Me Down to Weep”. It is featured on Sinatra’s 1996 album Moonlight Sinatra. An immense amount of exposure was created when Sinatra released his version of this beautiful song.
