The countries included Italy, Finland, France, Brazil, South Korea, Greece, Ukraine, Spain, and the USA. Surely enough, the lunch served in the USA is the least healthy and most processed.

Italy serves “Local fish on a bed of arugula, pasta with tomato sauce, Caprese salad, baguette, and some grapes”. America serves, “Fried ‘popcorn’ chicken, mashed potatoes, peas, fruit cup, and a chocolate chip cookie“.

Approximately 32 million children in the US eat cafeteria food every weekday. It is evident that they are not getting efficient nutrients and are consuming extremely processed foods. Therefore, it may be a better option to pack your child lunch!
