Looking for a fun holiday treat to spice up the holidays? How about a decadent drink made from everyone’s favorite chocolate spread? Nutella! This simple but yummy liqueur is easy to make and best of all, can be made in larger batches so it can be prepared ahead of time or be given as a gift. Best served cold, it can even be stored in the freezer. Just have it sit at room temperture for 15 minutes prior to serving.
Ingredients
- Nutella 1 cup
- Vodka 1/2 cup
- Heavy Whipping Cream 3/4 cup, plus 1 tablespoon
- Whole Milk 1 1/3 cups
- Sugar 1/4 cup
Directions:
On low heat, warm Nutella, milk, cream and sugar in a pot, mixing with a wooden spoon until mixture boils. Let it cool completely, stirring every few minutes. Once cooled, add vodka and stir. Pour into bottles and refrigerate for 2 to 3 days before serving. Shake before pouring over ice. Makes 4 cups.
