Family Stallone: Rome, Romance & Reunions in Season 2

The Stallones are on the move in Season 2 of their show The Family Stallone! Sylvester and Jennifer Stallone, along with daughters Sistine, Scarlet and Sophia, not only move from the West coast to the East coast, but they also take a heartfelt and memorable family trip to Italy. 

As the season opens, new beginnings are on the horizon as everyone makes plans to transfer to the opposite coast. Sisters Sophia (27) and Sistine (25) decide to pursue their dreams in New York City, while Scarlet (21) completes her degree in Miami. Sylvester and wife Jennifer decide to set up their “empty nest” in Palm Beach, Florida, taking viewers on an emotional journey as they end a huge chapter in their lives in Hollywood.

The family reunites for an amazingly romantic and significant trip to Rome and Puglia. “Stallone festival” as it is dubbed, is an emotional reunion of extended family and connection with their Italian heritage. Sylvester and his brother Frank receive an honorary welcome in their ancestral area of Puglia, including honorary citizenship to their grandfather’s hometown of Gioia del Colle during an outdoor ceremony. Family Stallone also had a private audience with Pope Francis at the Vatican where Sylvester demonstrated some boxing moves, much to his daughters’ chagrin.

Love is the ongoing theme for the Stallone sisters in Season 2 and there isn’t a method they won’t try to find it. Quirky game shows, blind dates and important boyfriend introductions to Papa Stallone have Sylvester trying not to “go ballistic” throughout the season as he adjusts to his little girls finding other men to adore besides himself. Even “Sly” is inspired by the romanticism of Rome and declares his adoration to his wife of 36 years. It’s a fun filled season of self discovery and challenges, but ultimately the Stallones know how to do it the Italian way, as Sophia states, “Family is everything!”
