This summery twist on an Italian favorite will have you looking forward to the warm weather in a new way! The watermelon is a wonderful addition to the classic Aperol Spritz by adding just the right amount of bright color and tanginess. You’ll appreciate this version at your next backyard BBQ!
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces Aperol
- 2 ounces fresh watermelon juice (blend diced watermelon until smooth)
- 3 ounces brut sparkling wine
- 1 ounce sparkling water
- Small watermelon slices for garnish
Preparation:
Add ice to a glass, pouring all of the ingredients over the ice, one at a time. Stir well. Garnish with a watermelon slice. Enjoy!
