Madonna and her 6 Children

The Material girl is celebrating her 66th birthday in the homeland of Italy with all 6 of her children and her boyfriend. One of the stops on her trips was a tour of Pompeii where Madonna also met a group of teenagers involved in a local theatre group called “Dream of Flying.” The star was so moved by their performance she donated to their project, financing the entire next year, estimated to be about 250,000 Euro and supporting about 300 youths.

Madonna’s roots stem from her paternal grandparents Michelina Di Iulio and Gaetano Ciccone from Pacentro, L’Aquila. Madonna spared no expense for her birthday trip, choosing to stay at Positano’s esteemed Villa TreVille. The 5 star resort overlooks the Tyrrhenian Sea and rooms costs at least $2000 per night and is considered to be one of the most luxurious properties in the world. Madonna was also able to enjoy the Ferragosto activities while staying in Italy, watching fireworks over the ocean.

This birthday trip was especially significant for Madonna to be able to spend it in Italy surrounded by all 6 of her children, Lourdes, Rocco, David, Mercy and twins Stella and Estere as well as her boyfriend, soccer player Akeem Morris.
