Domino’s Pizza has officially announced the addition of New York-style pizza to its locations across the United States. While the largest pizza company in the world has seen success with its current hand-tossed, handmade pan, and crunchy thin-crust options, the newest offering features “fresh, never frozen dough that is stretched thin, by hand.” Each pie is also topped with a “melty blend of cheese made with 100% real mozzarella and provolone, and cut into six big, foldable slices.”
While it remains to be seen how eager customers will be to try this new menu item, one individual who has been eagerly awaiting the launch of Domino’s New York-style pizza is company CEO Russell Weiner. “Domino’s prides itself on offering a variety of pizza crusts for all different tastes,” said Weiner. “Our pizza chefs created this new pizza crust to allow the deliciousness of our ingredients to shine through. It has the perfect balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings in every bite, making it the star of the show. New York Style Pizza may become our customers’ new favorite crust!”
In perhaps the chain’s biggest news update since launching “Pinpoint Delivery” in mid-2023 which enables customers to order delivery nearly anywhere, the release of New York-style pizza is particularly noteworthy given that it is one of America’s favorite pizza types that has been overlooked by the company for years. Operating nearly 7,000 locations across over 3,500 American cities, Domino’s now seeks to truly offer its consumers a seamless experience so they can eat whatever pizza they want, wherever they want.
