Glitz Up Your Gelato

Sometimes all it takes to create a great new recipe is to bring together some common favorites! That is the idea behind the recipe we’ll be sharing today. The key is to have quality, flavorful ingredients and the end result will be guaranteed to make your mouth water. This recipe will center around a classic Italian dessert favorite: Gelato!

Ingredients:

  • Gelato – A vanilla based flavor such as Crema, Fior di Latte, Zabaglione, Stracciatella (Chocolate Chip) or even Cocco (Coconut)
  • Fresh Brewed Espresso
  • Frangelico or Amaretto (whichever you prefer)
  • Sliced Pistachios
  • Dark Chocolate shavings
  • Italian Biscotti

Directions:

Pour the espresso over a generous amount of gelato. Add Frangelico to taste and top with chocolate shavings. Then add a generous amount of pistachio slivers and garnish with the biscotti. Serve immediately. Buon Appetito!
