Have you ever wondered how to make/prepare lupini beans? Or maybe you prefer to call them Italian M & M’s. Either way, the prep is easier than you think. Check out this easy to follow how-to video by Legumi Elisa!
Step 1: Leave lupini beans to soak in water for 24 hours – After leaving them for 24 hours they will turn into a yellow colour.
Step 2: Rinse the lupini beans.
Step 3: Put the lupini beans in a pot with cold water.
Step 4: Let the lupini beans boil for 10 minutes.
Step 5: Drain the lupini and let the cold water run over them.
Step 6: Get a large bowl and add cold water then add your lupini beans.
Step 7: Let them sit in the water for 4-5 days (change the water twice a day)
Step 8: After 4-5 days, add salt to the water and lupini and store them in a jar or container in the fridge.
