Mike Piazza is a former professional baseball catcher who played most notably for the New York Mets and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Piazza was born in Pennsylvania and is of Italian ancestry. He has recently agreed to manage the Italian National baseball team.
Piazza recently announced that he will manage the team for the 2020 European Baseball Championship and the 2021 World Baseball Classic.
