On January 6, 1907, Maria Montessori opened her first school located in Rome. She discovered the “Montessori Method” which is one of the most well-known and widely used educational approaches in existence. The Montessori Method is a method of education that utilizes self-directed activities, collaborative play, and hands-on learning.
