Florence
The first thing you should do is head to Florence. Traveling to forest will be laid back and it is easy to get to. When you are in Florence make your first stop you should go see Michael Angelo’s greatest arts. I recommend setting up a guided tour before you go. In Florence,you should only stay 2 days if you are moving on to other places. That is why you should book tours of everything before you go.
Venice
In Venice, you should definitely go see the Rialto Bridge. The bridge is one of the most common visited places. Rialto Bridge is one of the most amazing bridges to see in person. Secondly, you have to go on a Gondola ride in the beautiful Venetian Canals. If you do not want to walk all day I recommend doing this instead. It gives you a more personal experience. Lastly, you should go visit the Piazza San Marco. It is one of the most popular squares in Italy because it is from the 12th century.
The Mediterranean Coast
This will be the longest traveling day so you may want to plan on going to the Mediterranean Coast first or last. The capital is actually Genoa you will also be visiting the Portofino and Cinque Terre villages. It will definitly be relxing.
Portofino
When you are in Portofino you should definitely eat gala-to and walk the streets. Here you can get all your shopping done as well. The building are all sorts of colors. You can also see the huge yachts from the cost.The Monterosso footpath connects the towns of Monterosso and Vernazza. This hike is a little tough though and it takes 1-2 hours. When you visit here you should go when the weather is nice.
Milan
Consider ending your trip in Milan because the airport here as well. If you do not want to end your trip here you can think about going back to Rome. That way you can get all your exploring in. First, you should definitely go to the Cathedral. You can feed pigeons as well because it is a popular thing to do actually. You can also take a bus tour as well. This way you will hit every place there is to see in Milan.
Rome
Personally I recommend ending your trip in Rome. That is what Idid when I went. First go to The Fontana Di Trevi Foutnain. The tradition is to throw a coin in the fountain and make a wish for good luck. Next, you can’t miss going to visit the Colosseum. This I would not recommend doing a tour for. You can explore the amazing architecture on your own. There is so much to do in Rome so I also suggest to walk up the Spanish Steps.
