The Italian government has announced that it will temporarily be closing down all schools across the nation as the death toll rises due to the coronavirus.
It is said that all schools including universities will be shut down for at least 2 weeks while the authorities can better contain the spread of the virus.
Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte’s government will also be releasing new health rules later today to advise Italian citizens what they can do to prevent catching the coronavirus.
It is suggested for citizens to refrain from kissing, hugging, and shaking hands during this time.
