Don Giuseppe Berardelli, a priest in Italy passed away due to saving a younger person by letting them use his ventilator. The priest being 1 of 6,000 deaths in Italy really shows that COVID- 19 is not something to take lightly. a doctor at Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo, told The Washington Post. “The health system is totally destroyed. Nobody has seen a similar situation. It’s a catastrophe.”
Doctors worry that the health care system will go down hill and the country’s limited number of ventilators could cause issues.
On Friday Pope Francis led a prayer for the priess who have died during this crisis.
