102-Year-Old Woman in Italy Recovers from COVID-19 After 20-day Hospitalization ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Her doctors nicknamed her "Highlander - the Immortal."

According to a recent CNN news report, a 102-year-old Italian woman named Italica Grondona has recovered from the coronavirus after a 20-day hospitalization in Italy.

Grondona’s doctor, Dr. ย Sicbaldi, stated, “We got serological samples, she is the first patient we know that might have gone through the ‘Spanish flu’ since she was born in 1917.” Dr. ย Sicbald

Her doctors nicknamed her “Highlander – the Immortal.” They explained that she represents hope for all the elderly individuals facing this pandemic.

Italica Grondona left the hospital on March 26 and is now recovering a care home.
