EU Commission President Apologizes to Italy

When the outbreak of COVID-19 cases took over northern Italy at the beginning of March, the European Union took little to no initiative to try and help. Today, the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has apologized to Italy on behalf of Europe for its failure to do more.
