The most amazing part of it? She recovered the exact same day as her great-grandson who is just a toddler.
Pierina Quagliati resides in Piedmonte and is originally from Bergamo. She is one of the oldest individuals to survive COVID-19 and serves as a beautiful example of how strong Italians truly are.
“She told Corriere Della Serra Newspaper, “I’ve seen a lot during my life – the war, the Germans, those were difficult times. And now this virus. It’s a horrible illness. I had was coughing and feverish for days. But the war was worse. I suffered more then.”
She and her grandson both tested negative for the coronavirus two times.
