Nonna’s Classic Banana Bread

There is nothing like a nice slice of banana bread and a cup of coffee!

This classic banana bread recipe from Rossella Rago is the only one you will ever need!

For the Banana Bread:

  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 lemon, juice only
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
