We all know Armani, Versace, Prada, etc. They are names that have established themselves and made their mark on the world of fashion. Now it’s time for some fresh faces. Here are five of Italy’s up and coming designers that you need to be watching.
Liberatore wanted to be a designer since she was a little girl. She graduated from Central Saint Martins in London in 2007 before going on to work for Jean Paul Gaultier, Viktor & Rolf, and Brioni Womenswear. After breaking out to produce her own line, Liberatore won the Next Generation competition in 2009 from the Camera Nazionale Moda Italiana. Her designs can be seen on the runways of Milan, New York, and Paris, among other places.
