The protesters dressed up in their wedding dresses holding white umbrellas and signs and stood in front of the Trevi fountain to express their frustration on having to reschedule their weddings.
Many weddings all over the world have been put on hold due to the pandemic and the lockdown restrictions.
Since May 18, weddings were allowed to resume in Italy, but not with large gatherings. The rules state that small gatherings for weddings were allowed and wearing a mask was mandatory.
