Italy’s Daily COVID-19 Cases top 1,000 for the First Time Since May

Unfortunately, for the first time since May, Italy's daily COVID-19 cases have topped 1,000.

According to Reuters the last time Italy saw 1,000 cases of COVID-19 was on May 12th 2020 when 1,402 cases were reported.

Currently, Italy has 262,540 confirmed cases, 206,329 recoveries, and 35,458 deaths according to Google News.

Italy’s heath ministry explained that vacationers returning form the Mediterranean Sea resorts abroad and Sardinia have caused an increase in the past months.
