COVID-19 – Masks Are Mandatory Outside in Italy

Italy has recently extended precautionary measures regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to ABC News, “ROME — Italy imposed a nationwide outdoor mask mandate Wednesday with fines of up to 1,000 euros ($1,163) for violator.”

According to Premier Giuseppe Conte, the rise in COVID-19 cases for a consecutive nine weeks demanded that more extreme measures be taken.

Conte explained, “We have to be more rigorous because we want to avoid at all cost more restrictive measures for production and social activities.”
