Attention all prosecco lovers! Rosé Prosecco is now here!
Prosecco DOC Rosé has officially launched its Prosecco Spumante Rosé Millesimato in Treviso, Italy on the 25th of November after getting the governments approval back in May.
The production of the pink bubbly drink required an official ministerial decree. (That’s kind of a big deal!)

According to the regional wine council, Consorzio Tutela del Prosecco DOC, they plan on selling an estimated 16 million bottles of the Prosecco in it’s first year alone outside of Italy.
The DOC regulations stated that the Prosecco will include between 10 and 15 per cent Pinot Noir alongside Prosecco’s commonly used Glera grape.
The sparkling pink drink is set to hit shelves just in time for Christmas.
