Osman Zerey is a Turkish man who was deported from Italy in 1985. His son is named Salvatore Napoli. Osman Zerey met his Italian wife in Italy, and they had Salvatore. However, Osman’s work permit in Italy expired. Thus, he was deported to Turkey, forced to leave his 2-year-old son behind.
Salvatore and his father had no way to locate each other. However, Salvatore was able to find his father after relentlessly searching social media. Salvatore added all individuals on social media who had the same name as his father. When he finally found his father, he got on a plane to Turkey.
Osman Zerey stated, “I never gave up looking for him, but it was to no avail. Thank God, he found me,” he explained. I will never leave him again. I have a son and two daughters, and now I have my second son.” They met in Fatsa, which is Osmans Zerey’s hometown in Turkey. Below, they are photographed together.
