San Francisco 49ers
Nick Bosa & Jon Feliciano
If you missed the bio’s done on the 49ers last week, you can catch up here. We know that Jon Feliciano does not have an Italian last name. His last name is actually Puerto Rican! But, Feliciano is Italian on his mother’s side as she has Sicilian roots. Nick Bosa comes from an Italian family. His culture and football passion/skills have been passed through generations as multiple family members of his were/ are in the NFL.
Corey Luciano
Corey Luciano is another Italian-American for the San Francisco 49ers. He is a center, and played college football for the Diablo Valley Vikings and Washington Huskies. On the practice squad, Luciano stands at 6″4. That’s one tall Italian!
Kansas City Chiefs
Nick Allegretti
Allegretti is from Frankfort, Illinois. In his early years, he played as an Offensive Lineman for his high school and college team. He also wrestled in high school where he became a state finalist. Today Nick Allegretti plays as a Guard for the Chiefs. He was selected by the team in 2019 where he played seven games during his rookie season.
Mike Caliendo
The guard from Wisconsin was signed by the Chiefs in 2022 as an undrafted free agent. In his early career, Caliendo played for his local high school team where was named captain and most valuable player. He went on to play football at Western Michigan University. Not only is he a solid football player, he is also a Distinguished Scholar-Athlete and earned academic all-conference honors.
Drue Tranquill
Tranquill is a linebacker for Kansas City, as well played for Notre Dame’s football team. A proud husband, and father, Tranquill won the Newcomer of the Year award from Notre Dame in 2014 and was Captain in 2017 and 2018. He is also a National Scholar-Athlete.
