Located on the east Baunei coast of Sardinia, this beach is accessible only by boat or trail. Because it has become so popular, it is recommended to arrive as early as possible in the morning to enjoy the beach before it becomes overcrowded by visitors. Restrictions have been placed by staff to ensure the beach is not overrun, therefore a maximum of 700 visitors are allowed at one time. Due to the fact that most visitors reach the beach by boat, it is recommenced to visit during the months the ocean is most calm which is June through October. There are hiking trails that can be taken to access the beach. Travel time on the trails is approximately 3 hours.
