Basilica of Sant’Abbondio
Dating back to the 5th century, this is one of the oldest churches in the region. The structure has been added to frequently over the years, so there are sections of the church that represent the architecture of different historical periods. The inside of the church boasts outstanding frescoes from the 14th century.

Although this museum is about engines of all varieties, it is particularly interesting to those who are passionate about motorcycles. This is another free activity so it is great for those with a limited budget.
Jungle Raider Park
For some family fun that is suitable for all ages, a day at Jungle Raider Park is an activity that will suit all the family. There are two of these parks close to Lake Como; one at Civenna and the other in Margno. The parks are divided into sections according to difficulty and there are activities for all levels of ability. Activities include bungee jumps, rope walks and zip wires.
Forte di Fuentes
This is one of the most historically significant structures in the area as it is one of just a few remains from the Spanish dominion. It is located near Colico on the northern part of the lake. This is one of the best places to visit to learn about local history and culture.
