  1. Laura Pausini was born on May 16, 1974, in Faenza, Emilia-Romagna.
  2. Her musical talents are inherited from her father who sang in local piano bars. As a child, she often accompanied him and he encouraged her to perform alongside him.
  3. She released her first single, ‘La Solitudine’ in 1993m and this topped the charts in Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
