Ingredients

Almond Cake:

  • 3/4 cup salted butter at room temperature
  • 7 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs at room temperature
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1.5 tsp almond extract
  • 1.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Amaretto Glaze:

  • 3 cups +4 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 9 tbsp + 1.5 tsp amaretto liqueur
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • Finely chopped almonds to top the cake
