- 200g (1 3/5 cup) confectioner’s sugar
- 100g egg whites (about 3 extra-large eggs)
- 50g white granulated sugar
- 1 vanilla bean or 1 tsp vanilla paste
- instant coffee granules
- FILLING:
- 8 ounces (226g) cream cheese, softened at room temperature
- 1/2 cup (113g) butter, softened at room temperature
- 3 to 4 cups (375g) confectioner’s sugar
- 1 tablespoon Amaretto, OR 1 tsp almond extract
- 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee granules
