  • 230 Grams of Granulated Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 220 Grams of All Purpose Flour
  • 50 Grams of Cocoa
  • 16 Grams of Yeast

  1. Start heating the wine in a saucepan.
  2. Then melt the chocolate into pieces, over low heat and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, pour the sugar and the soft butter into pieces, start to work everything with an electric mixer, until you get a soft creamy sauce. Add the eggs, one at a time, work the first well before adding the other.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate first and continue to work with the mixer. Then add the lukewarm wine.
  5. Once the dough has worked well, pour the sifted flour and continue to whisk. Add the sifted cocoa and yeast.
  6. Mix everything well and finally mix the dough with a spatula and pour it into a 24 cm buttered and floured hinge mold.
  7. Cook the cake in a static oven, already warm at 170° for 60 minutes.
  8. For the glaze, pour the sugar, cocoa and wine into a sauce pan and mix with a whisk over low heat for 5 minutes.
  9. Remove the cake from the oven and once it has cooled, pour the glazeover the cake and serve!
