“They buried him like that” – Italians in Quarantine Left Without Closure

Quarantine has officially changed the processes of how Italians mourn the loss of their loved ones.

It is evident and heartbreaking that Italians are left with nowhere to grieve. According to WORLD NEWS, Marta Manfredi who lost her grandfather Alfredo Visioli, stated, ” They buried him like that, without a funeral, without his loved ones, with just a blessing from the priest.” She went on to explain, ““When all this is over, we will give him a real funeral.” Quarantine has officially changed the processes of how Italians mourn the loss of their loved ones.

Our deepest condolences go out to Marta Manfredi, her family, and all affected by the virus.
