Alicia Keys
Alicia Keys was raised by her Italian-Irish mother in New York. Keys posted on her Facebook page in March of 2019 writing, “I am black and Italian, among other things mixed in. The Italian part of me comes from my mother. I remember holding her hand walking down the street —my hand, little and brown, and hers pale covered with freckles I would ask her if one day all her freckles would join together and her hand would be brown like mine?”
Mark Ruffalo
Mark Ruffalo, aka the Hulk, was born to an Italian father and a half French-Canadian, half Italian mother.
Sophia Bush
Sophia Bush made a name for herself on the teen TV drama One Tree Hill. She currently stars in the hit TV show Chicago Fire. Her Italian roots stem from her both who she once jokingly explained as “a crazy Italian lady from New Jersey.”
Bradley Cooper
Bradley Cooper’s Italian heritage is from his mother’s side of the family. Her origins are from Abruzzo and Naples. During the filming of his movie A Star is Born, Bradley bonded with Lady Gaga over their shared background. Bradley stated in one interview, “That was actually a huge bond that we both came from East Coast Italian-American families.”
Jennifer Aniston
Everyone’s favorite Friend, Jennifer Aniston can also trace her Italian genes through her maternal family line. In fact her maternal grandfather was an Italian immigrant.
