Black pasta or squid ink pasta is beautiful in color and delicious in flavor. This black dough recipe can be shaped into any type of pasta and is great with seafood. The key ingredient is Cuttlefish Ink which adds dramatic color and a bit of brininess to the dough.
320 g “00” Flour
128 g Semolina Flour
1 tablespoon Cuttlefish Ink
Pour flour and semolina on a flat surface and create a well in the center. Add eggs and cuttlefish ink into the well and begin mixing with a fork.
Slowly incorporate flour into the mixture.
Once all ingredients are incorporated, knead the dough with your hands for about 10 minutes.
Wrap in plastic wrap and let rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
