The TRUTH About Italy’s $1 Homes 😲

Some things seem too good to be true. Unfortunately, this is one of them.

Although many homes in Italy claim to be $1, that is only the starting bid. Therefore, with numerous bidders, the prices quickly rise up to 1,000 or more.

The video below by Business Insider explains that only one home in Sambuca sold for $1 and numerous sold for 1,000 or more. Furthermore, homebuyers must pay a deposit amount that ranges from $2,300 to $5,6000. They must then invest around 17,000 dollars for home renovations. When considering the listing price of the homes, plus taxes, deposits, renovations, and flights back and forth, the price comes to around 76,000 dollars.
