Grandma Antoinette’s Italian Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 6 c. flour
  • 6 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. cloves
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 3 sticks of margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. cold coffee
  • 1 grated orange rind
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Cut margarine into dry ingredients, set aside. Beat eggs and sugar, add coffee and vanilla, blend into dry ingredients. Fold in orange rind and nuts. Shape into balls and bake 15 minutes in 350 degree oven.
