Ingredients
- 1/2 pound pasta shells
- 12 pieces of sandwich bread
- 2 cups of mozzarella cheese
- 8 slices of provolone cheese
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 cups of garlic butter
- 1/2 lb flour
- teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 cup parsley
- 1/2 cup basil
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Butter bottom of a casserole dish
3. Cut the crusts off 10 slices of white Italian sandwich bread
4. Cover bread with preferred garlic butter (using about 2 cups of garlic butter)
5. Bake for 10 minutes
6. After the 10 minutes are up, cover with 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese and 6 slices of provolone cheese
7. Bake for 10 minutes more
8. In a frying pan (medium heat) melt 60 grams of butter
9. Add in 30 grams of flour along with 1/2 tsp of paprika
10. Gradually add in 2 cups of milk and stir
11. Add in about a cup of mozzarella cheese to the mixture and salt and pepper to taste preference
12. Add 1 and a half pounds of prefered cooked pasta (5 mins only) to the cheese mix and stir
13. Add pasta and cheese mixture to the casserole dish and bake for 15 minutes
