According to CBS 46, Firefighter official Giuliano Santagata explained, “I have never seen a situation like this,” he went on to state, “Just look at the facade and you see that everything is completely burned, and therefore presume that it was made of flammable material.”

Firefighters vigorously searched the building but reported that there were no missing people, injuries, or deaths. Only 20 individuals required medical attention for smoke inhalation. The fire began on the 15th floor and quickly swept through the building.
There is an ongoing investigation on how the fire began. Nevertheless, the flammable material of the building is blamed for the fire rapidly engulfing the building.
