Pumpkin Spice Latte Donuts Recipe

'Tis the season for all things pumpkin spice!

The espresso glaze adds an Italian spin to these pumpkin donuts! These are a conversation starter for Thanksgiving! Get the recipe below by Two Purple Figs! 


For the Donuts:

  • 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves (optional)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin (unsweetened)
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt (low fat or fat free is ok)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup of confectioners sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of strong espresso (more or less adjusted to the thickness of glaze you prefer)
