Dr. Guido Russo, an Italian dentist, wore an arm made of silicone during his vaccination. Initially, the health professional, Filippa Buanotice, did not notice anything suspicious. However, after feeling his arm and looking closer, she did not detect any veins and asked him to take his shirt off.
Filippa Bua told La Repubblica, “The color of the arm made me suspicious, and so I asked the man to uncover the rest of his left arm. It was well made, but it wasn’t the same color.” The man said to her: “Would you have imagined that I’d have such a physique?”
Dr. Russo claims he was not trying to deceive the doctors and nurses into believing his arm was real. He explained that he solely wore it to make a point through personal protest. He stated that the COVID-19 vaccine is the best weapon against the disease and has been vaccinated since.
Russo got vaccinated the next day and explained that his failed protest motivated him to do so. Dr. Russo said he is not an anti-vaxxer and has received all childhood vaccinations. According to The Guardian, Russo stated, “I think at this point the vaccine is the only weapon we have against this terrible disease, but there should be a freedom of choice.”
Russo is now facing criminal charges.
