Dinner in a Hurry? 15-Minute Go-To Sugo! 😍

With busy schedules, everyone needs a go-to quick and simple sugo recipe!

This sauce is so convenient that it’ll be done by the time your pasta is done cooking! Serve it with a fresh salad and some Italian bread and you’re set! Get the recipe by An Italian in My Kitchen!

INGREDIENTS  

  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1-2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 can whole peeled tomatoes with liquid (1 1/2 to 2 cups) no added ingredients (400 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 5 leaves fresh basil chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1-2 dashes black pepper or hot pepper flakes
  • 1/3 cup water (78 grams)
  • 3 – 3 1/2 cups cooked pasta (molto al dente) (325 grams)
