Ciao! Thank your wanting to learn more about my grandmother's sauce recipe!
My grandmother, Adeline, took great pride in her food and cooking. Every Sunday, our family got together and she would make this sauce.
My mother learned her recipe and continued her tradition after she passed.
A lot of Sundays, we would add pork, sausage, or meatballs into the sauce and let it cook together. It comes out the best. Feel free to do that as well!
Ingredients
For 1lb of pasta:
1 can of Tomato Paste
1 can of Peeled Tomatoes (my grandmother used Marconi)
Oregano
Fresh Basil
Basil Leaves
Garlic Powder
Salt
Sugar
