1. Boh!

Meaning: I don’t know.
Example: “Boh. I couldn’t find the salami in the fridge.”

 

2. Mannaggia!

Meaning: Damn or Damnit!
Example: “The salami is right here mannaggia!”

 

3. Mi Raccomando

Meaning: I recommend.
Example: “Get your eyes checked! Mi raccomando.”

 

4. Uffa!

Meaning: Ugh!
Example: “Uffa! What a mess!”

5. Meno Male

Meaning: Thank god!
Example: “Meno male we found the salami!”

6. Figurati

Meaning: Don’t worry or don’t mention it.
Example: “Thanks for your help!” “Figurati!”

7. Dai!

Meaning: Come on!
Example: “Dai! Let’s go!”

8. Allora

Meaning: Then… or so then…
Example: “Allora, we will cut up the salami.”
