Surprisingly enough, even after Italy experienced one of the hottest summers, it has already received its first snowfall of the year!

The snowfall began on Friday and persisted through the weekend leaving the Alps covered. Approximately 27 centimeters (10 inches) were measured near The Dolomites and 50 centimeters (1.6 feet) at Passo Stelvio in the Alps!
