Pumpkin Mascarpone Pie -Recipe

Pumpkin pie is always a great idea for Thanksgiving and the autumn season! Add an Italian touch to your pumpkin pie with rich mascarpone cheese! This pie is a great way to "WOW" your guests!


For the dough:

  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, cubed and chilled
  • 1/4 cup ice water

For the filling:

  • 2 eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 (15 ounce can) pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup whipped cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
