These garden fresh tomatoes and borage edible flowers make a striking summer snack! The contrast of their vibrant colors is beautiful and their flavors incredibly complimentary. Borage flowers can be swapped for any edible flower (nasturtium, cucumber blossoms, chive blossoms); these are just what were in my garden!
- 2 Roma tomatoes, sliced 1/4 inch thick
- Handful of edible flowers
- Grated pecorino romano
- Black pepper
- Arange sliced tomatoes on a plate with edible flowers. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Sprinkle with pecorino romano, sea salt and black pepper.
- Serve with crusty bread!
