According to BBC NEWS Italy’s heath minister has rejected the idea of a second lockdown.
The health minister explained that the healthcare system had become “much stronger” since the beginning of the pandemic.
Speranza told the daily newspaper La Stampa, “We will not have a new lockdown.” He went on to explain, ““I am optimistic, although prudent. Our national health service has become much stronger.” He explained that the current state of Italy cannot be compared to that of March.
